Counselling

Counselling
I am an experienced integrative humanistic counsellor, who brings warmth, sensitivity, energy and thoughtfulness to my work. I help clients with a wide range of issues including relationships, anxiety, career and work, stress, low self confidence and self esteem, mid-life, family issues, divorce and separation, conflict and anger management, depression, illness, loss and grief. I have a particular interest in mid-life and the issues this can raise as children grow up and parents age.
You’ll have an opportunity to talk about the problems you are facing that are preventing you from living the life you want. You’ll be able to explore your thoughts, feelings and behaviours, to gain new perspectives and to look at new ways that will help you to enhance your life.
Counselling will offer you time to explore how to manage challenging times and develop a deeper understanding of yourself in a confidential and safe space. You’ll learn what you can do to get through these difficult times, techniques and strategies that work or you and to access your inner resources. You’ll find that you feel re energised and equipped to manage any future challenges.
We will meet for an initial appointment after which there is no obligation to continue if you do not wish to. We will take the opportunity to explore the personal or professional challenges for which you are considering Counselling. I will discuss confidentiality with you and address any questions you may have. You will then be able to decide if I am the right person for you.
